Earlier this week I was approached by a journalist for The Atlantic. She was working on a story about weekday weddings and saw one of my tweets about getting married on a Tuesday. We talked on the phone about the reasons why, benefits, downsides, people’s reactions, and if I would do it any differently. I thought about that last part for awhile and ultimately decided I wouldn’t change a thing. For Jordan and I’s situation, a Tuesday wedding was perfect! Professionally, I can see why some are hesitant, but to all future Sweet G brides-to-be, you should totally do it!
